For an extra layer of security, you can turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) for your Zocks account. If your password is ever compromised or stolen, you'll have peace of mind knowing that only you can sign in.
How it works?
You’ll need access to your mobile phone when you sign in to Zocks.
You'll enter a verification code and your password to sign in.
You can choose to receive your verification code by text message (SMS) or from an authentication app.
Account Owners and Admins can make 2FA mandatory for all users within their account. In order to do that, they also need to configure their own 2FA login.
How to turn on 2FA as a user?
Authenticator App
Before you can set up 2FA on your account, you’ll need to download and install an authentication app on your mobile. Zocks 2FA can be used with most Time-Based, One-Time Password (TOTP) applications but by default we recommend Google Authenticator.
Sign in to your Zocks account and navigate to the Account - Profile Settings - 2FA menu and select the Authenticator App option.
Add a new account to your Authenticator App. In most apps, you can do this by tapping the + icon.
Scan the QR code by using your device's camera. If you prefer, you can choose to enter the code manually.
In Zocks, enter the 6-digit verification code that your authentication app generates.
To finish, press Verify Code.
Save the Backup Codes that Zocks generates in case you get locked out in the future. You can't retrieve these codes lates so please make sure to note them down.
Text Message (SMS)
Sign in to your Zocks account and navigate to the Account - Profile Settings - 2FA menu and select the Text Message option.
Select your country from the menu and enter your mobile phone number, including your area and/or zone code.
Next, we'll send a 6-digit verification code to your device. Enter the code on the Zocks 2FA configuration page.
To finish, select Verify Code.
Save the Backup Codes that Zocks generates in case you get locked out in the future. You can't retrieve these codes lates so please make sure to note them down.
You can have more than one factors added to your account so you can use both of the options above.
How to enforce 2FA as an Account Owner?
As an Account Owner, you can turn on MFA for all users in the Setup - Settings - 2FA menu. By enabling the Enforce setting, users who don't have 2FA already enabled will be logged out of their account. To make the transition smooth, we recommend that you contact your users first and let them know about the upcoming change. You can track the 2FA status of each user on the 'Status' page so you can make sure their 2FA setting is enabled before rolling out the enforcing policy.
Users in an account where 2FA is enforced need to have at least one login factor so they can't remove both Auth App and Text Message.

Backup codes
If you lose your phone or you've deleted your authentication app, you can use one of your backup codes to sign in. Use any code to sign in, but keep in mind that each code can only be used once. Your backup codes were provided at the time you set up 2FA.
What to do when locked out?
If you got a new phone or don't have access to your backup codes, please contact your Account Owner or Admin to manually create a new backup code for you. Please note that you might need to use multiple backup codes to re-configure your 2FA.
If you're an Account Owner and you can't sign in, you'll need to contact our support team for help.
