Meeting Scorecards - Advisor Coaching in Zocks

Meeting Scoring by the AI Assistant

Updated over a week ago

Meeting Scoring is a comprehensive evaluation module that helps financial professionals assess the effectiveness of their client meetings. Based on industry research and proven sales coaching standards, it analyzes 18 key metrics grouped into three core categories:

Scheduling Score, Engagement Score, and Workflow Score.

Each scoring group provides an objective, data-driven view of meeting quality—highlighting strengths and revealing opportunities for improvement. With clear, actionable insights, Meeting Scoring supports continuous growth and helps advisors deliver more impactful, client-focused conversations.

Meeting Scoring is designed not just to evaluate single interactions, but to serve as a scalable performance-tracking tool across advisors, teams, and the entire firm. Firm owners and team leads don’t have the time or capacity to review hundreds of meetings manually so Meeting Scoring surfaces for them the insights that matter most. It helps identify standout meetings that can be used as examples in training, as well as flag interactions that may be veering off track. By turning raw meeting data into clear, actionable insights, firms can foster consistent improvement, drive higher conversion rates, and strengthen client relationships at scale.

How do I enable Meeting Scoring?

Meeting Scoring is enabled in all subscription tiers by default but if you would like to turn the feature off or re-enable it, you can do that under Setup > Settings > AI Assistant > Enable Meeting Scoring.

Please note that only Account Owners can change this setting for the team.

Where do I find my Meeting Scorecard?

You can view the overall Meeting Scores by navigating to the Past Meetings list view. This provides a quick glance into how your most recent meetings went. To get a much more detailed breakdown, you just need to open the specific meeting in question and navigate to the Scorecard tab.

The Meeting Score is a 0-100 number where 100 means an absolutely perfectly run meeting. The results are broken down to 3 main sections measuring key aspects of the meeting:

  • Scheduling Score: Evaluates scheduling efficiency with insights on time allocation, meeting sources, and follow-up bookings.

  • Engagement Score: Measures client engagement through talk time, sentiment, interactivity, and conversation balance, with customizable insights on connection and personal engagement.

  • Workflow Score: Tracks meeting effectiveness with insights on decision-making, agenda use, next steps, tasks, life events, and customizable core motivators.

Your Zocks AI Assistant reviews the scoring results and highlights key Strengths and Areas for Improvement, so you don’t need to analyze all 18 individual metrics manually. Specific aspects that require attention are clearly marked with a yellow "Needs Work" tag, making it easy to focus on what matters most.

Your Zocks AI Assistant uses a weighted evaluation method to calculate the overall score, giving greater importance to the most influential aspects of the meeting.

Sentiment Scoring as part of the Meeting Score

Client Sentiment is part of the Engagement Score category and offers valuable insight into how a meeting is going. However, Sentiment Analysis must first be enabled in your settings by navigating to Setup > Settings > AI Assistant.

Please note that this feature may not be available on all subscription tiers, and only Account Owners can manage this setting. Since Sentiment Analysis does not apply retroactively to past meetings, your Zocks AI Assistant automatically adjusts scoring by excluding the Sentiment metric when it’s unavailable—ensuring you can still achieve the full 100-point score.

How do I customize Meeting Scoring aspects by Meeting Type?

Zocks supports your firm’s workflows with flexible tools, allowing you to create Meeting Types and Templates tailored to specific scenarios such as Onboarding, Portfolio Reviews, or Estate Planning. Each type of meeting may require attention in different areas—for example, onboarding sessions may focus more on building rapport and understanding a prospect’s personal background, while portfolio reviews might emphasize how the client feels about their financial plan and concerns around current performance.

To reflect these differences, Zocks allows you to customize the three most influential scoring aspects based on the Meeting Type. This customization can be applied at multiple levels, helping you align the scoring system with your firm’s unique processes and priorities.

The key customizable aspects are:

  • Core Motivators

  • Client Connections

  • Personal Engagement

To adjust these settings, go to Setup > Meeting Types, select the Meeting Type you want to customize by clicking the gear icon, and then choose Meeting Scorecard Customization. This feature allows you to guide the AI Assistant by defining a key topic for each scoring section that it should track and assign positive scores to when addressed during the meeting. This can be defined on Meeting Type live, for Your Own meetings and for your Team Members as well.

Meeting Scores that have already been calculated will not be automatically updated when settings are changed. The AI Assistant will use the settings that were active at the time the meeting was completed. However, you can manually trigger a recalculation by changing the Meeting Type. To do this, go to Past Meetings > View, and update the Meeting Type using the dropdown menu in the top row.
