You can connect your Orion Portfolio Solutions account to Zocks to update contact information in Orion and pull data for meeting prep and more. You will have access to all the two-way structured data synchronization options available.

With this integration, you can:

  • Sync contacts between Orion and Zocks

  • Update contact information with insights from your meetings

  • Prepare for meetings using combined Orion data

  • Get instant insights from Orion with the Ask Anything AI Assistant

  • Generate email replies based on Orion portfolio information

    How do I link my accounts?

  1. Log in to your Zocks account and navigate to Profile Settings > Integrations

  2. Scroll down to the Portfolio Management & Reporting integration section and click Connect next to Orion.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions and authenticate with your Orion account.

  4. Once connected, you'll see Orion listed as Connected on the integrations page.

Contact Synchronization

Your Zocks contacts can be synced with your Orion contacts once the connection is established under Integration Settings (gear icon next to the Disconnect button). The sync is based on email addresses, so only Orion contacts with email addresses will sync to Zocks.

How do I update client information in Orion?

After each meeting, Zocks analyzes your meeting and highlights potential updates for your client’s personal data in Orion. Zocks compares your meeting notes with existing Orion data and suggests new or modified data records for you to review and save.

To update an existing Orion contact with new information discovered in your meeting, open the meeting from the Past meetings section and click the Orion icon next to the client’s name in the Participants section.

Zocks will display your client’s current Orion data (if there’s any) next to any new details automatically captured during your meeting. For each section where information can be updated, you’ll see both the old data and the suggested update, with checkboxes so you can choose exactly which changes to keep.

No updates are saved unless you choose them, you always have full control. By default, all checkboxes are selected - simply uncheck any sections where you don’t want to keep the suggested update or want to keep the original Orion data. Review all the updated information before making changes. When you’re ready, click Save. Only the sections you’ve left checked will be updated in the client’s Orion profile.

How do I use Orion data in Meeting Prep?

Default Meeting prep templates now include portfolio management information automatically. For synchronized contacts, your Meeting prep will automatically use and include Orion information when you're using the system default templates.


If you're using custom templates, make sure to include a portfolio management section in your templates for Orion information to appear.

You can define your own template and data will appear according to your preferences, but here is an example template section:

Include: asset allocation with specific percentages and dollar values for each category (equity, fixed income, alternatives, cash); account-by-account balances with registration types and current values; recent transaction history with dates and amounts; model adherence status and any drift from target allocations; top individual holdings with weights and performance returns; risk metrics and scores; stress test or scenario analysis results; and any upcoming portfolio deadlines or required actions. List each detail, item, and amount separately with comprehensive information available in the data.]

How do I access Orion data with Ask Anything AI?

You can type your own question in the free text chat, and in just seconds, the Ask Anything AI Assistant will gather information from Orion, past meeting data, and your connected CRM to provide instant answers with the financial details you need.

How do I get AI generated email replies that include information pulled from Orion?

Your Zocks AI Assistant helps you respond to clients efficiently by automatically pulling relevant information from your meeting history, connected CRM, Financial Planning, Client Profiles and Orion.
