How to integrate Zocks with meeting providers

Integrate Zocks with Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams to streamline workflow and enhance productivity.

Click to watch the step-by-step tutorial on the Zoom integration:

Zocks provides integrations with multiple meeting providers, including Google Meet, Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.

Google Meet and Microsoft Teams do not need to be connected individually. When a calendar is connected, the corresponding meeting provider integration is automatically activated.

This short article explains how to connect your Zoom account to Zocks.

Starting from March 2, 2026. (Zoom has moved the token enforcement date from February), Zoom is enforcing platform changes that affect how meeting assistants join Zoom meetings.

Zoom integration is required, capture will start only when the connected Zoom user joins, and unattended joins, pre-join, or post-leave capture will no longer be supported.

You will also learn to configure how your Zoom meetings are captured with Zocks.

Zocks supports two Zoom capture methods:

  • AI Assistant (joins meetings live)

  • Zoom Recording (uses Zoom recordings to generate transcripts)

You can choose the option that best fits your workflow and compliance requirements.

Before you start

Make sure that:

  • You have an active Zoom account

  • You are allowed to authorize third-party apps in Zoom

  • You have access to Settings β†’ Integrations in Zocks

Step 1: Open Zoom integration in Zocks

Log in to Zocks and go to Settings β†’ Integrations.

Under Meeting, find Zoom.

If Zoom is not connected yet, you will see a Connect button.

Step 2: Connect your Zoom account

Click Connect on the Zoom integration card.

You will be redirected to Zoom to authorize the Zocks Meeting app.

If needed, use Switch account to select the correct Zoom account before continuing.

Step 3: Approve Zoom permissions

On the Zoom authorization screen, review the requested permissions.

Zocks requires access to:

  • Join meetings or

  • Access meeting recordings (depending on your configuration)

Zoom may display a notice that participants can be notified when an app accesses real-time audio or video.

Click Allow to complete the connection.

After approval, you will be redirected back to Zocks and Zoom will appear as Connected.

Step 4: Open Zoom settings

From the Zoom integration card, click Manage.

This opens the Zoom Settings page where you control how Zocks interacts with your Zoom meetings.

Step 5: Select meeting capture method

Under Meeting Capture, choose one of the following options.

AI Assistant
Zocks joins the Zoom meeting as a participant to listen and transcribe in real time.

Zoom Recording
Zocks waits for Zoom to make the recording available, briefly accesses it to generate a transcript, then deletes it. Zocks does not store the recording.

Step 6: Configure ad-hoc meeting auto-join (optional)

If AI Assistant is selected, you can enable Auto-join my ad-hoc Zoom meetings.

When enabled, Zocks will automatically join Zoom meetings that are started without a calendar event.

This option is only available when using AI Assistant.

Step 7: Save changes

Click Save Changes to apply your settings.

Your Zoom integration is now active.
