Customize Data Retention Policy to your needs for effective data management and compliance.

Data retention policy is crucial for effective data governance, ensuring that organizations manage data responsibly, securely, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

By default, we retain your data for 2 years, but this can be tailored to your preferences.

To customize your data retention policy, follow these steps:

  1. From the left menu, select "Setup" and click "Data Retention Policies."

  2. To change policies, click "Add Custom Policies."

  3. Modify the Time-to-Live Value to set the duration your information stays.

  4. Choose hours, days, or weeks as time units. Once expired, data is automatically removed.

  5. You’ll have two “Resource type” to choose from:

  • Select "Meeting" to delete the actual meeting and all the results which were generated before.

  • Choose "File" to remove only the necessary documents (meeting stays) for meeting processing. When choosing "File," you have two options: either the "Recording" or the "Transcript" of the meeting

6. Click "Save" to complete and customize your data retention policy.
