How do I link my accounts?
Log in to your Zocks account and navigate to Profile Settings > Integrations
Scroll down to the Portfolio Management & Reporting integration section and click Connect next to Black Diamond.
Follow the on-screen instructions and authenticate with your Black Diamond account.
Once connected, you'll see Black Diamond listed as Connected on the integrations page.
Contact Synchronization
Once Black Diamond is connected, contact synchronization can be enabled under Integrations / Portfolio Management/ Black Diamond Wealth Platform / Your Settings. The sync is based on email addresses, so only Black Diamond contacts with email addresses will sync to Zocks.
How do I update client information in Black Diamond?
After each meeting, Zocks analyzes your meeting and highlights potential updates for your client's personal data in Black Diamond. Zocks compares your meeting notes with existing Black Diamond data and suggests new or modified data records for you to review and save.
To update an existing Black Diamond contact with new information discovered in your meeting, open the meeting from the Past meetings section and click the Black Diamond icon next to the client's name in the Participants section.
Zocks will display your client's current Black Diamond data (if there's any) next to any new details automatically captured during your meeting. For each section where information can be updated, you'll see both the old data and the suggested update, with checkboxes so you can choose exactly which changes to keep.
No updates are saved unless you choose them - you always have full control. By default, all checkboxes are selected. Simply uncheck any sections where you don't want to keep the suggested update or want to keep the original Black Diamond data. Review all the updated information before making changes. When you're ready, click Update. Only the sections you've left checked will be updated in the client's Black Diamond profile.
How do I use Black Diamond data in Meeting Prep?
Default Meeting prep templates now include portfolio management information automatically. For synchronized contacts, your Meeting prep will automatically use and include Black Diamond information when you're using the system default templates.
If you're using custom templates, make sure to include a portfolio management section in your templates for Black Diamond information to appear.
You can define your own template and data will appear according to your preferences, but here is an example template section:
