Some advisors get calendar invitations on more than 1 email address β a work account, a personal account, or a second firm address. Linked emails lets you connect up to 2 extra addresses to your Zocks account, so meetings sent to any of them are picked up automatically.
When to use linked emails
Linked emails is useful if:
You get client meeting invitations on more than 1 address.
You can't connect a calendar through Zocks because of enterprise restrictions.
You manage more than 1 calendar on the same provider.
If your primary calendar is already connected and covers all your meetings, you don't need linked emails.
Plan availability: Linked emails is available on Pro and Ultimate.
How it works
Zocks captures meetings by recognizing calendar invitations sent to [email protected]. By default, only invitations from your primary email address are matched to your account.
Linked emails extends this. After you add and verify a new address, any invitation sent to [email protected] from that address is matched to your account too.
You can link up to 2 extra addresses per account.
Add a linked email
To add an extra address:
Go to Integrations β Emails
Open Linked emails.
Click Add email address.
Enter the address and click Send verification.
Open the inbox of that address and click the link in the verification email.
The verification link expires after 24 hours. If it expires, return to Linked emails and click Resend verification.
Once verified, the address moves from Pending to Active. Only active addresses are used to match meetings.
Use a linked email in invites
After your address is active, add [email protected] as a participant to any calendar invitation sent from that address. Zocks joins the meeting and attributes it to your account.
You can do this in 2 ways:
When you create a meeting, add [email protected] to the participant list.
When you forward an existing invite, send it to [email protected] from the linked address.
Manage linked emails
Open Integrations β Emails β Linked emails to:
See the status of each address (Pending or Active).
Resend a verification email for any pending address.
Remove a linked address. New meetings stop being matched. Past meetings stay in your account.
Rules and limits
You can have up to 2 linked addresses per account, in addition to your primary email.
Each email address can only be linked to 1 Zocks user. Shared aliases need a single owner.
An address already linked to another user can be moved to your account with a fresh verification.
Verification links expire 24 hours after they're sent.
Troubleshooting
The verification email didn't arrive. Check the spam folder of the address you're verifying. If it's not there, return to Linked emails and click Resend verification.
A meeting from a linked address wasn't picked up. Check that the address is Active in Linked emails. Make sure [email protected] was added as a participant on the invite.
The address says it's already in use. The address is linked to another Zocks user. To move it to your account, start the verification again from your inbox to take it over.
