Manage Multi-language Meetings

Account level Multi-language preference can be activated for the account under Settings > Language.

Please note: Incorrect language selection can result in unusable transcripts and permanent data loss. Clear UX guidance, warnings, and explicit confirmation steps help prevent misconfiguration. Meeting sentiment analysis is only available for English meetings.

After enabling the feature, you need to select a fallback language method. When a fallback language is selected, this is used when the system cannot determine the language.

The Autodetect feature means the first 90 seconds of the meeting determine the language setting.

When the feature is enabled, a preferred language can be set at the contact level. When a meeting takes place in a certain language, we add this information to the client profile.

This can also be managed manually when editing a contact.

In the upcoming list, each meeting’s language setting is shown in the details section.

The 🟡 indicator next to the language tag indicates the system-determined language, and manual adjustment may be required. Hovering over the language indicator will display a tooltip showing the current state of language assignment.

Please note: Once the language is manually set, it will not be recalculated even when adding new participants.

The system only considers client data when determining the meeting’s language. When a language is set for a meeting, and the contact’s language preference unknown, it will be updated after the meeting is finished.

It is possible to adjust the language during live meetings. To do this, click the language button and select the preferred language.

A language can also be set for uploaded meetings. If an incorrect language was selected, the meeting can be removed from the Past list and uploaded again with the proper language setting.
