Get your meeting summary when a meeting won't finish

What to do when a meeting won't end, stays in "Assistant analyzing", or its summary keeps loading.

Sometimes a meeting doesn't move through Zocks as expected. It may stay in Live Meetings after the call is over, sit in Assistant analyzing, or show a summary that keeps loading. This article explains what each situation means, what you can try yourself, and when to contact us.

Which situation are you in?

Meeting stuck in Live Meetings

This usually happens when the meeting didn't end normally. For example, your computer shut down, you lost your internet connection, or you closed the browser during the meeting. Zocks only starts creating the summary once the AI assistant has left the meeting.

In-person meetings on desktop: end the meeting on the same device and browser you used to capture it. During an in-person meeting, Zocks saves data on that device and uploads it when the meeting ends. If you end the meeting from a different device or browser, any data that hasn't been uploaded yet may be lost, and your summary may be incomplete. Whenever possible, go back to the original device and browser to end the meeting.

To end the meeting yourself:

  1. Select Live Meetings in the left-hand menu.

  2. Find the meeting and select View.

  3. Remove the AI assistant:

    • Virtual meetings: open the three-dot menu and select Remove AI Assistant.

    • In-person meetings: select Remove AI assistant.

Once the assistant is removed, the meeting moves to Past Meetings and Zocks starts creating the summary.

Don't see Remove AI Assistant, or the meeting is still there after you removed it? The meeting is probably still active on our side, and our Support Team needs to end it for you. Contact us using the details in What to send us. This is usually resolved within 24 hours.

For more about the Live Meetings screen, see Live meetings in Zocks.

"This meeting is currently running in another tab or browser"

This message means the meeting is still open somewhere else, for example in another browser tab, on another computer, or in the Zocks mobile app. Close Zocks everywhere else, then refresh the page and try again. If the message doesn't go away, contact us.

Meeting stuck in Assistant analyzing

After a meeting ends, Zocks needs some time to create the summary, meeting details, tasks, and follow-up email. Longer meetings take longer to process.

What to try:

  1. Give it some time, then refresh the page.

  2. Avoid changing the meeting, for example renaming it or changing its meeting type, until processing has finished.

  3. If the meeting is still analyzing after a while, contact us. Our team can check the meeting and restart processing if needed.

Summary keeps loading

If a meeting is in Past Meetings but the summary or meeting details won't open, try the following:

  1. Refresh the page.

  2. Log out of Zocks and log back in.

  3. Open the meeting in a different browser.

If it still won't load, contact us. A meeting that won't load doesn't necessarily mean it's lost, and our team will investigate.

What to send us

To help us find the right meeting quickly, include the following when you contact us:

  • The meeting title

  • The date and approximate start time

  • Whether it was an online, in-person, or phone meeting

  • A link to the meeting, if you have one (optional). Open the meeting in Zocks and copy the address from your browser's address bar.

  • A screenshot of what you see, if possible

Tips to avoid stuck meetings

  • End meetings from Zocks when you're done, especially in-person meetings, so the assistant stops capturing right away.

  • For in-person meetings, keep your device charged and connected to the internet for the whole meeting.

  • Turn on notifications for inactivity detection so Zocks can remind you to wrap up a meeting you've forgotten to end. See Live meetings in Zocks.
